Europe? Climate Change? Don’t forget to fuss the dog!

Europe? Get a dog!

Cottingham.tv urges more people in public office to own dogs!

Dogs can teach their owners quite a bit about basic human behaviour and empathy.

Our democratic system is after all based on localism, not globalism!

If you live locally, then you feel it is your right to obtain fair employment opportunities locally too – especially if you are white, UK-born, male and working-class!

Following on from the tragic killing of local MP Joe Cox, from West Yorkshire: however far-sighted and global your thoughts relating to politics are, local people and their interests need to be prioritized and supported too!

You may have heard of politicians kissing babies – a kind of ‘mother-fussing’ if you get the drift, but dog owners know about having empathy with their canine companions, and many also likely  own guns –  especially in America. In fact one can go further and state that guns and dogs go had-in-hand and wo-betide the politician who neglects this basic friending technique! If you don’t want your new baby to be attacked by your jealous yet most favourite canine companion, just remember to fuss the dog!

Understanding the building blocks of basic human psychology through dog-owning

Building empathy surely means adopting the politics of building rapport and localism with your electorate on an individual basis?

Political Empathy-building with the Electorate

Cottingham.tv’s editorial is also under pressure to forget the big global stories and bring reporting  back down to a local level! Do you have a story to tell?

Politicians neglect this at your peril: people have basic human rights to work, self-respect and ownership of and within their local environment.

If you understand animals, you may just have a chance of understanding Human Beings too, at least in the minds-eye of many members of the National Rifle Association – although some may disagree!

It would be a sorry situation indeed if dog-owning was outlawed by red tape and criminal liability for damages – we would then be completely freed to ‘lose the leash’ (lose the plot) with empathy and localism altogether! Declare it null and void: ignore it as an uncomfortable truth!

Last night, the BBC broadcast two most interesting programmes on American Life: firstly the US President emphasising the reality of Climate Change visiting National Parks over the weekend and secondly coverage of life and inequality for poor Blacks living in Missouri. To win hearts and minds, you need to think local too!

The weather makes all the difference to trade and the persistent cold high winds we’ve had recently have made the stallholders task almost impossible
