Lots of local Summer Activities await!

Walking around Cottingham Green, there are several notice boards featuring the many local activities Cottingham has to offer –

They’re regularly updated by the Parish Council (Offices located in the Green) and the Memorial Club (Finkle Street) – and a few window posters on the Civic Hall

The Memorial Club in Finkle Street hosts Cottingham Day – coming 2nd July!

Supply and demand: donating and receiving food

Open Wednesdays and Saturdays 10:30 – 12:30 AM

One of the lesser-known and promoted services Cottingham residents provide

It is not easy or straightforward to locate and target help to growing numbers of people in need locally who would really benefit from from these services ..

just being available on a walk-in basis and promoting this vital service anonymously here you may be able to help .. and all are welcome!

We waste much of our food – it can be recycled!

The Zion United Reform Church in Hallgate is very grateful for any donations of the following items:

Milk (UHT or powdered)

Fruit Juice (carton)

Soup

Pasta Sauces

Sponge Puddings (tinned)

Cereals

Rice Pudding (tinned)

Tea bags / Instant coffee

Instant Mashed Potato

Rice/Pasta

Tinned Meat/Fish

Tinned Fruit

Jam

Biscuits or Snack Bars

Pass it on – Thank You

PS Editor’s note: a perishable fresh and or cold food table would not go amiss, but then someone would have to be responsible for disposing of or safely storing of any left-over food at the end of the day ..  your thoughts as comments please to cottingham.tv comments
