Our error proved to be correct about his being “Candidate Elect” after all

following his recent interview for Cottingham.tv, we wish to stress that being willing to appear on Local Social Media is important for all Candidates, not only the successful ones!

Please scroll down to see our interview ..

Our page count is far higher than you might think

Quality and Quantity: It’s the story behind the what, where, when, where and why you report on – rather than just the how much!

Our Editorial is viewed by Google as more than just that of content providers, more than just page space-filler or padding; more than mere “Jouralistic Aspirin“, as our irritable and grumpy old English teacher used to say in school mockingly after we handed in our then hand-written homework, sometimes copied with screeds of text taken straight out of the textbooks!

Our reporting also covers a wide field with a inclusive background knowledge of science and technology

Note: I’m willing bet with hindsight old C.C. from Riley High suffered from IBS – as well as plagiarism-induced reading headaches Ed – I liked him 🙂

Our top 38 post stats to date from 1st December 2015 to date: –

Viewing Statistics – p1 of 2

It’s the amount of journalistic page-filler, pretty pictures that consume too much bandwidth to download, distracting adverts and

Viewing Statistics – p2

low-grade interpretation that puts people off – therefore we try not to insult our readers intelligence!

In some cases we will succeed, in others we will fail abjectly 🙂

What 3 points are particularly revealing from the above stats: –

people are interested in finding out about local businesses politics and affairs

quality begets more views than quantity alone – but you need both to become a good writer – and create a traffic hub for your market place!

the early bird catches the worm: our posts keep on getting hits (views, reads) well after they are published, thanks to their favourable positioning in google search rankings and informative, interesting content!

Tip: if you are having difficulty reading the numbers from the images, try viewing this on a larger screen PC. They appear as readable OK on the editors smaller smart phone at least.

Cottingham.tv unveiled

Success breeds success!

Cottingham.tv has now reached the coveted “Page 3” – ranked Google Page Rank Checker status!

To our disgruntled fellow Sun readers and their likes ‘trying to keep abreast of a difficult situation’ or worse, ‘still struggling to maintain a hard copy on the side’, this is regarded as a compliment, not in any way degrading!   🙂

Ratings

Further charts and quarterly figures are available on request. Our most popular page by far was the review of artist Anselm Kiefer’s London Exhibition over a year ago with over 4,500 views, we think establishing Cottingham.tv as a player in online jouralism!

Are you a bawler or a boomer – or are you just super cool?

Which empty vessel makes the most noise?

‘Superheroes’ can come in many different shapes and guises!

Spiderman (above right) has lots of speed dynamism and tenacity, whereas Supervan (centre) is very sedate and thoughtful with much carrying capacity and dyamic duo Zen (left) has lots of taste with a calming yin and yang balance! Which type of mug best depicts your personality and when with other people, which role do you prefer to take on? Would it be supercool to take Spiderman to Glastonbury?

Coffee break tip from Cottingham.tv

Here’s a trick I learned from teaching: purchase some coffee mugs locally and the next time you have a coffee break, make them available for staff to choose!
